​Hi! I’m Chantel – a dedicated dog walker and proud pet parent based in Davisville, Midtown Toronto, also serving the amazing pet families of Lawrence Park, Leaside, and Midtown. Growing up surrounded by dogs like German Shepherds and Rottweilers, I developed a deep appreciation for the unique bond we share with our furry companions. In 2017, Penny, our fun-loving red Labrador, stole my heart. Lucky Penny Pet Care was born in 2020, after leaving a career in Interior Design to be more present with my son. With years of hands-on experience and formal training under my belt, I now offer loving, fully insured dog walking services with a strong emphasis on safety, enrichment, and pack harmony.

I believe in positive reinforcement and force-free pack leadership. Every pup in my care is treated with respect, patience, and love. I’m pet first aid and CPR certified, insured, and proudly hold a City of Toronto Commercial Dog Walker Permit to walk up to six dogs safely. Before joining our off-leash adventures or group walks, each dog receives a thoughtful personality and safety assessment. My focus on matching dogs by energy level and play style means your pup is always in good company.

I take great care in selecting dogs to join our pack, ensuring that their play styles and personalities complement each other. Getting to know each dog's unique quirks and preferences is a joy for me, as it ensures that every furry friend is happy and fully engaged during our outings.

Safety is my top priority when leading a pack of dogs. Before welcoming a new member, I conduct thorough assessments to ensure they'll integrate well with our pack dynamics. Equipped with a pet first aid kit and certified in pet first aid and CPR, I'm prepared for any situation. Additionally, I'm fully insured and hold a dog walking permit from the city of Toronto, allowing me to responsibly walk up to six dogs at a time.

During our walks, I focus on reinforcing positive behaviours and using force-free training methods to keep our furry companions engaged and responsive. I've invested time in studying dog body language to ensure I'm always attuned to their needs and signals.
