About Me
Hi I’m Chantel, your neighbour and a huge dog lover. I grew up with animals in my house, including German Shepherds and Rottweilers. My husband and I were thrilled to add Penny, a red Labrador, to our family when she was a puppy. My background is in Interior Design but when my son came along, I realized the corporate world wouldn’t give me the work-life balance my family needed. It was around that time I realized the passion I had for training Penny and taking her on fun adventures and decided it’s what I should be doing full-time. Being outside, enjoying this amazing neighbourhood with amazing animals has become a dream job. Not only do I get to be with animals, but I help my neighbours by providing them with the assurance that their fur babies are taken care of and enjoying adventures too.
I believe in and use positive reinforcement and force-free training, while working with my packs, always showing them the respect they deserve, as their pack leader. I have completed a dog walker mentorship program with EduCanine and I have an accredited pet aid and CPR certificate. Penny and I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged best friend.
Pack Dynamic
At Lucky Penny Pet Care you get the same qualified and professional walker each day - ME!

I strive to select dogs to join our pack that will compliment each other's play structures and temperaments. I enjoy getting to know each dogs personalities and quirks, ensuring each dog is happy and enjoying their outings with the pack.

Safety is very important with a pack of dogs. I assess each new dog and ensure they will be a good fit in our pack. I carry a pet first aid kit and are knowledgable and certified. I am insured and have a dog walking permit with the city of Toronto allowing me to walk up to 6 dogs at one time. I also work on each dogs recall and listening skills throughout our walk to ensure they are engaged with positive reinforcement and force free training methods. I also have researched dog body language and ensure I am reading their cues.
